Our “Home Sweet Texas Home” of 10 years is more than a place to live and be with family during the holidays. It is also home to Front Porch Psychotherapy, my counseling practice. With 1.5 acres of both native and landscaped areas, water features and an expansive porch to welcome clients, 17049 Trail of the Woods feels more like a retreat center than a house. Our two naturally born therapy dogs, Rio and Molly, greet all who come to the door with barks, then kisses. When the weather is good, we sit on rockers on the front porch, enjoying the peace and privacy.

Inside, windows all across the back let in natural light, which can uplift one’s mood. Our great room serves sometimes as a waiting room for parents of children and teens, where they have time to relax or get some work done while family members are in session. My private indoor office space looks out to the front porch. The atmosphere supports the perfect container for mind, spirit and body focused personal rejuvenation. The best thing is, I never have to leave my Durio home!
